सोनिया ने किया रेल परियोजना का शिलान्यास जयपुर। यूपीए अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी ने शुक्रवार को डूंगरपुर-बांसवाड़ा-रतलाम रेल परियोजना की आधारशिला रखी। इस परियोजना का शिलान्यास से आम लोगों में खुशी की लहर है। शिलान्यास कार्यक्रम में गांधी के अलावा राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत, प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष और केद्रीय मंत्री सी.पी.जोशी तथा विलासराव देशमुख भी उपस्थित थे।

कार्यक्रम के बाद सोनिया गांधी बांसवाड़ा रवाना हो गई। कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष बांसवाड़ा में राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन परियोजना का प्रस्तुतिकरण देंगी और एक प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन करेंगी। और जनसभा को सम्बोधित करेंगी। बाद में वे उदयपुर होते हुए 1.05 बजे विमान से दिल्ली लौट जाएंगी।

2083 करोड़ से बनेगी 176 किमी. लाइन
सोनिया गांधी ने शुक्रवार को रेल परियोजना की आधारशिला रखी, उसकी लागत करीब 2083 करोड़ आएगी। राजस्थान की 1200 करोड़ हिस्सा राशि से बन रही परियोजना 176.47 किमी. लम्बी होगी और इसके पांच साल में पूरा होने की उम्मीद है।

मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने जनजाति अंचल के लिए परियोजना को वरदान बताते हुए इस साल के बजट में रेलवे को 1200 करोड़ रूपए राज्य के खजाने से देने की घोषणा की थी। परियोजना में मध्यप्रदेश के रतलाम जिले के साथ राजस्थान के बांसवाड़ा व डूंगरपुर जिले शामिल हैं और इसे उत्तर-पश्चिम रेलवे बनाएगा। राजस्थान में 126 किमी और मध्यप्रदेश में 50 किमी गुजरने वाली रेल लाइन में कुल 19 स्टेशन बनाए जाएंगे।
