Tikamgarh: Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi broke through his security cordon near Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh to talk to children. It is reported that the Congress General Secretary spoke tothe kids about education and the ongoing Commonwealth Games. At Tikamgarh, Rahul Gandhi told gathered party workers that if BJP government in Madhya Pradesh was to be changed then Youth Congress workers "must end infighting and work among the people"."Youth Congress workers must work among the people as per the party's ideology and not be reduced to a mere follower of some leader or the other," he said while addressing party workers from Damoh, Chhattarpur and Tikamgarh.Earlier, addressing a training camp of Youth Congressin Sheopur, Rahul Gandhi on Monday called upon the youth to enter politics and expressed hope that a day would come when young leadership would be at the forefront in Madhya Pradesh.Gandhi said the party is encouraging youth and pointed out that the Manmohan Singh government has got a number of young ministers in it.Referring to the membership drive conducted by the youth wing of theparty, he said that it was a big success in Tamil Nadu with the organisation enrolling 16,000 members where the Congress had been reduced to almost nothing.Taking a dig at the BJP, Rahul said that instead of supporting the Congress in its developmental schemes,the party is becoming an obstruction and issuing senseless statements.
